Speeding Up Metabolism By Dieting Is Not Always True

A lot of diets talk about speeding up your metabolism by cutting back on calories. The problem is that if you cut back on your calories to fast, you metabolism will slow down instead of speeding up. Why is that? Because when your body is not getting enough calories it will be forced to go in survival mode. Survival mode means that your body is going to go in a state of hibernation. Your body will use minimum energy to keep you alive. That means that your metabolism is slowing down. Because your body does not want to burn energy

Your body needs about 2300 calories a day in order to function properly. Most of us eat around 4000 calories a day. The majority of the calories is then stored as fat in your body. The first thing when starting to lose weight is to cut down on your calories. Make sure you aim for the 2300 calories a day. Start to cut down on your calories today and keep this up for 7 days.
