Why Weight Training is a Great Idea for Anyone (tai chi practice)

Exercise experts these days tell us that we need to perform a variety of exercises to keep our bodies in tip-top shape. Not only do we need to work out hard enough to get and keep our hearts pumping, we also need to lift weights and do regular stretching.

All of these components work together to provide different health benefits. Stretching may improve balance, making it less likely we'll fall and break a hip in old age, while cardio training keeps the heart strong and may protect against heart attacks and other health problems.

When it comes to lifting weights, there are a ton (pardon the pun) of good reasons you should be pumping iron if you're not already.

If you're trying to lose weight, you might have heard that a pound of muscle burns more calories to maintain itself than a pound of fat does, so getting more muscle on your frame will help you lose weight. Lifting weights also strengthens your bones and may help prevent injuries such as slip and fall accidents, again thanks to improvements

By Dane Fletcher

A home fitness program may just be the thing for you if you desire to lose extra fat and gain more muscle from the safe confines of your home. This is in case you are quite aware of what that you are supposed to do. If this is not the case then some simple mistakes may occur which may lead to the inefficiency of the program. This situation almost always leads the affected person to abandon the whole idea of getting fit in the first place.

If you can find a way around these errors then your workout is guaranteed to be more effective, fun and repeatable and thus more gains on the intended results will be achieved. There are some errors that people make when starting out on home based fitness programs. This article will highlight three of these which are by far the most common in this respect.

#1. Being overzealous in your starting. The main point of getting started on home based training is to get into shape, not to get injured. You want to get your body into shape
